Temecula Valley vBeers – Temecula, CA, USA (Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013)
A small group of guys are trying to build up a group called Temecula Valley IT Professionals, so in an effort to grow the community we’re having our inaugural meeting at a brewery…so please join us for our first vBeers!
Here’s a quick message from the groups founder, Aaron Schneider;
I am the chairperson for the technology group within the EDC. I have a passion to bring the IT talent in the Temecula Valley together (and we do have it). Besides, who really wants to commute to San Diego or Orange County? I don’t even want to drive down Winchester Road.
I know you all have questions for me….like why should I go and what kind of conversation can I expect?
My crystal ball foresees that some of the questions will look like this:
–How do I grow my VMFS filesystem without takng downtime?
–Which Enterprise storage array is better? EMC, 3PAR, Tintri, or drobo?
–I’m a developer, do you hadoop?
–57 reasons why you never want to implement VMware VSA….ever.
–My kid plays soccer at Birdsall park, where does your kid play?
Who’s gonna be there?
–Bill Lowe (Saving lives with technology at Loma Linda Medical Center)– from the school of hard knocks — nuff said.
–Rick Scherer (VMware vSpecialist at EMC) — Dude, does your license plate really say VCDX#21
–Brad Rhodes (SE for Nutanix) — Because Nutanix in causing panic!
–Eric Henry (Datacenter Architect) — @realerichenry and he likes to be tweeted
–Steve Massa (Former channel manager for NetApp and EMC)
–Cazi Brasga (Built City of Temecula’s technology)
–Kevin Martin (Solutions Architect @ Trace|3) — Why do you always say ‘kid’?
So come on down! We’ll have a great time, we’ll drink a few beers and talk about tech, life, and maybe having our next event at Crush n’ Brew.
We also have a budget for some free drinks, so if any of the topics above don’t interest you at least you can come for some free booze!
