vBeers – Chicago (Tuesday, April 17th, 2012)
![]()
Fellow techies in the Chicagoland area – did you know that Chicago has yet to have a vBeers event? Amazing, I know! It’s time to change that – starting on April 17th, myself and others in the Chicago VMUG are hosting a vBeers event at Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap in the downtown area, and you’re invited! This bar is known for having well over a hundred different beers available, and I’ve already secured some tables for us to hang out and talk all things virtualization. There’s no valid excuse to miss out on the first vBeers in Chicago and network with other like minded individuals like yourself.
Still not sold on having beers with your peers? Wow, you’re a tough sell!
As an added bonus, one of the presenters I saw at Virtualization Field Day 2, Zerto, has offered to sponsor the event. No product pitch, just meet and greet and beers on Zerto. How cool is that? I’ll be tweeting more on the event (@ChrisWahl and @ChicagoVMUG) so please make sure to watch the tweet stream and re-tweet to your vBuds.
Location: Jake Melnick’s
Address: 41 East Superior Street, Chicago, IL (Take a Virtual Tour)
Date: Tuesday, April 17th, 2012
Time: 6:30 PM -
Don’t miss out on this legendary event!

Fancy meeting up every month with other IT virtualization enthusiasts to socialise and chat over a cold beer, wine or soft-drink? If so, then vBeers is for you!
